Ok so basically my dream started that we live on a lake town and some people were amphibious like in Luca and I was one of them. My friends were on a boat and I pushed it bc I could swim fast. Everywhere else, I had to pretend to be human bc they couldn’t know abt the amphibious people, but in the lake town I could be the amphibious person, but our school was in a dif town, so when we got near town lines, I had to shift back into a human. And so yadada I went to school and I was wearing a wet suit so my teacher asked why I was and then I just told her that I had to do boat matinence. Ok anyway, now the dream shifted. There were two business moguls: one looked like Bill Hader and the other looked like Dwight from the office. They wanted to recruit me, but I declined because I was focused on something else. They cornered me and threatened to kill me if I didn’t join. When the turned because citizens walked by, I bolted and ran for a secret trail, but they were right behind me. I lost them in the woods, ran into my tiny apartment, grabbed everything I could and stuffed it into a bag, and got onto a train that was labeled BurgC. I didn’t know where this led to. I got onto the train, and it led me to a New York-ish place and I auditioned for “Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer” the musical, and I got the role. Also in this dream, I was really into sketching on black paper. Anyway, Micheal Scott from the office was in this musical so that’s cool. Oh also, I forgot to add in my amphibian dream, my cousins were half human and half amphibious and they couldn’t shift bc halfsies were never able to shift in the past but I helped them. Ok that’s basically it.
This dream is rich in imagery and has several layers that may reflect various aspects of your waking life. Here are some interpretations based on key elements of the dream:
Amphibious Identity: Your ability to shift between being amphibious and human suggests a duality in your life. You may feel pressured to conform to societal norms (the human identity) while also wanting to embrace your unique qualities and true self (the amphibious aspect). This could point to feelings of being different or having a hidden identity that you wish to express more openly.
Lake Town: The lake town could symbolize a place of comfort and belonging where you can be yourself without judgment. The transition from this safe space to the outside world (your school in a different town) indicates the struggle to maintain authenticity in environments that may not fully accept you.
Threat from Moguls: The encounter with the business moguls who threaten you reflects feelings of pressure or conflict in your life, possibly relating to career choices or expectations from others. Their actions may symbolize external forces trying to dictate your path, pushing you to conform when you'd rather follow your passions.
Escape and Secrecy: Your quick escape into the woods and the secret trail suggests a desire to break free from constraints and the stress of those external pressures. This could reflect a longing for privacy, freedom, or a space where you can be yourself without judgment.
Auditioning for a Musical: This part of the dream represents your creativity and desire for self-expression through art. The role in “Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer” indicates a potential for success and recognition in your creative endeavors, which you may be pursuing or wish to pursue in real life.
Sketching on Black Paper: This element may symbolize a desire to explore creativity and express your thoughts and emotions in a new and unique way. It could also hint at a deep or hidden aspect of yourself that you are discovering or need to explore further.
Cousins and Transformation: Helping your half-human, half-amphibious cousins may represent your nurturing side and a desire to assist others who are struggling with their identities or societal pressures.
Overall, this dream suggests themes of identity, creativity, social pressure, and the desire to escape and find your true self. It may be encouraging you to embrace your uniqueness, pursue your creative interests, and stand against external pressures while also nurturing others who may be facing similar challenges. Reflecting on these themes may help you gain further insight into your current feelings and situations in your waking life.
